So I have kind of left this site/blog by the wayside but I am going to have to be revisiting it and more often as due to my current job leading me into a pay cut I am going to be looking most likely to writing as a means of making up some of that lost revenue by using writing to create some new income streams as I move forward.
What is great is this is just another art form as far as I am concerned and this will just be something that I can add to my actual art work which I create. And there are far better odds that I can sell more books that I write than pieces of art that I create, being that one is going to be a lot less expensive than the other.
Lately though I have been extremely busy, the wife and I did a great deal of spring cleaning and organizing this year, we have tossed out a lot of stuff that we didn’t need anymore and sold off a bunch of furniture we don’t need anymore, with just a couple of pieces left to get rid of at this point. I have also moved my home office/art studio back to the lower level of our house which puts it in a better position for being able to access it when ever I want without having to go up the stairs.
We also redid the front porch of our house to make it a nice comfy area to just sit outside and hang out when the weather is nice enough for it, this mainly because the deck on the back of our house needs to be repaired and we haven’t yet had the time to get to it. There is a good possibility that we might take it down and make a concrete patio instead, we are s till figuring that one out. We are heavily leaning towards doing a concrete patio instead of fixing the deck, we just have to wait for some other work on drainage to be done in our yard before we can do that.
